We are currently hiring one-part time swimming teacher to work as self-employed on a permanent basis in various shifts throughout the week from August 2021 in our sites located in YMCA and Bermondsey.
We are specifically targeting an experienced London-based swimming teacher with a proven record of outstanding swimming lessons in private and semi-private lessons. Experience with children from the age of two and adults; Parent and baby lesson experience would be extremely desirable and will certainly put you ahead of other candidates.
Our aim from Goggle and Giggle is to become the leading swimming school service. This is why we run our program all year round we are passionate about what we do. Children/ swimmers can visit our Swimming School all through the year and we offer school visits and home visits in London providing swimming lessons. We currently teach over 50 students a week on our private swimming lessons. We also provide holiday courses in exclusive private developments, homes and schools in Central London, as well as our main site open to general public.

Who we are

Welcome to Goggle and Giggle, where we believe in happy and confident swimmers is all that matters. Our main branch is located right in Central London, we provide home visits and lessons at schools as well.
We provide premium swimming tuition for babies, children and adults at the YMCA and the pool is 25meters long. We offer:
Parent and Toddler lesson with a maximum of 5 toddlers in one class and swimming teacher is required to teach in the water
1:1 and 2:1 private swimming for adult and child from stage 1 -5, the swimming teacher is required to teach in the water
Students can have group lessons from Stage 5 and Stage 6. The maximum number for these lessons is maximum 4 children. The swimming teacher will be teaching by the pool side.
Stage 7 and onwards children will be invited to join Squad swimming and the maximum number for this lesson is 8 children.
We are committed to providing our students with exceptional customer service both in and out of the water. Students benefit from a personal booklet that monitors progression each week. Once the students achieve all the require outcome, they will receive a certificate straight away and does not need to wait till the end of term.

We are looking for exceptionally talented aquatic professional at all times and highly motivated team members who is

Positive, passionate and professional
ASA Level 2 or STA Level 2 Certificate
Can commit to minimum 1 year
Two years or more experience of teaching in water, private 1:1 lessons
Committed to self-development and willing to expand knowledge
Teachers National Rescue Award or NPLQ
Experience in teaching babies highly desired
Experience in teaching adults highly desired

What we can offer you

£18.50 an hour the first 6months
Summer Crash Courses
Monday, Wednesday, Saturdays & Sundays working hours (2.5, 2.5, 7 = 12 hours)
Home visit clients £27.50 per hour
We will contribute 50% course fees towards any future swim development courses you want to attend
Opportunity to grow with the company and bring your own clients
All new instructors are required to undertake a compulsory of 2 weeks paid training on our programme
